Neko Case 2009

ABC Dig Music is proud to be supporting shows by Neko Case at the 2010 Sydney Festival.

January 11 & 12 @ 7pm – City Recital Hall

Virginian-born Case released her fifth studio album Middle Cyclone earlier this year and it was featured on ABC Dig Music.  It contains contributions by M Ward, Calexico, The Sadies and Giant Sand.

With a voice compared to Patsy Cline, her career has included long-time collaborations with The New Pornographers, as well as writing, recording and touring - firstly with her own band Neko Case and Her Boyfriends and now as a solo artist.

For this Australian tour, Neko Case will be joined onstage by - Kelly Hogan (vocals), Paul Rigby (guitar), Barry Mirochnick (drums) Jon Rauhouse (guitar) and Tom V. Ray (bass).

Neko Case's shows at the Sydney Festival are part of a national tour:

Sun 10 - The Clarendon, Katoomba
Mon 11 - Sydney Festival
Tue 12 - Sydney Festival
Thu 14 - The Hi-Fi, Melbourne
Fri 15 - The Hi-Fi, Melbourne
Sat 16 - Fowlers, Adelaide
Sun 17 - The Rosemount, Perth

The Sydney Festival runs January 9 to 30, 2010.

Congratulations to all our competition winners, who have bagged themselves a double pass to see Neko Case perform at the Sydney Festival: Kate Mayes, Dave Hare, Emma Stanton, Joel Turner, Dean Jalocon
