Shooglenifty are an Edinburgh-based six-piece Celtic fusion band that tours internationally. The band blends Scottish traditional music with influences ranging from electronica to alternative rock. They contributed to Afro Celt Sound System's 1996 album Volume 1: Sound Magic. Several of the band members had previously played together in Swamptrash.

thanks for the info re shooglenifty. Great clip too - the tammienorrie with tassie mando wizard Luke Plumb to boot!. Can we hear the new double album ? its released in the UK but not sure if here - can you find out? would be grand to hear some. The Aussie guy according to a reveiw I read online has written most of the tracks!. Lvoe your programming - even if a tad light on the folk content. More SHOOGS I say!
