a voice I did not regonise
a sound I had not heard
a rift that got my pulse burning
a little lion roaring
I went to the local
record store all to no avail
must put it on order
as I sighed I tried
by listening very intently
to hear that sound again
a mix of colonal
folk, and folly

the sadness inside
of a loss I must hide
the album arrives
as I drive the antispition
is almost overwheling
to my little farm in the middle of nowhere
your voices rang out
through my valley of doubt
my heart it did stop
as you spoke of the Grace
made me think of the Cross
covering my pain
with your beautiful refrains
without hesitation
I tell you that that day
you saved my life
as I was at the lowest
your music lifted me
with its honesty
for several days I did the usual
to escape my drama
painted for myself
