Biography
Flight of the Conchords are a New Zealand-based comedy duo composed of Academy Award winner Bret McKenzie and Emmy nominated Jemaine Clement. The duo's comedy and music became the basis of a BBC radio series and then an American television series, which premiered in 2007 on HBO, also called Flight of the Conchords. They were named Best Alternative Comedy Act at the 2005 US Comedy Arts Festival and Best Newcomer at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, and they received a nomination for the Perrier Comedy Award at the 2003 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The duo's live performances have gained them a worldwide cult following.

Hi raduib909,
These guys are the "fourth most popular novelty band from New Zealand". You will find plenty plenty of track from them including my favorite 'the hiphopopotamus'. There is also a comedy series "flight of the concords" about them trying to break into the American music scene with help from their incompetent manager at the New Zealand consulate. There is also a indi movie "Eagle Vs Shark" by one of the guys, definitely worth watching. New Zealand has some great film makers, be sure to check them out.
