Biography
Deep Forest is a musical group consisting of two French musicians, Michel Sanchez and Eric Mouquet. They compose a style of world music, sometimes called ethnic electronica, mixing ethnic with electronic sounds and dance beats or chillout beats. Their sound has been described as an "ethno-introspective ambient world music. " They were nominated for a Grammy Award in 1994 for Best World Music Album, and in 1995 they won the Award for the album Boheme. The group also became World Music Awards Winner - French group with the highest 1995 world sales. Their albums have sold over 10 million copies.

Deep Forest - World Mix 1994 every track attracts your ears. I remember buying Deep Forest in 1990's but sold it because I wanted a small pocket-size CD walkman with studio quality headphones without those ear cushion pads overheating my earlobes. Well, this year 2009 is the year I bought Sony Ericsson mobile that you can record from CDs and listen through ear-plugs with strong clear bass and treble. I strongly wish a re-release of World Mix so I can listen with the latest audio technology from Sony.
