Well, what can I say about Allison Crowe?

Well, I discovered Allison's music at the beginning of 2010, on a music downloads site called Jamendo and I have loved her music ever since! Allison plays both piano and guitar, some great piano songs are "Effortless", "Going Home Tonight", "How Long", "There Is", "Whether I'm Wrong" and many other great songs! Allison does great guitar songs as well such as "Now", "Circular Reasoning", "Northern Lights", "Angels", "Little Light", "Hold Back", "Wedding Song" and many others! I also totally recommend you listen to "Lisa's Song", a song about a friend of Allison's who went missing in 2002.

Another great thing about Allison is her ability to make great cover versions, and in many ways, making them sound just as good, if not better, than the originals. For example, on Allison Crowe's latest album, "Spiral", you'll find Allison's cover of the great Hunters & Collectors song "Throw Your Arms Around Me" and Annie Lennox's "Why" and Leonard Cohen's "Chelsea Hotel No. 2". On Allison's other albums, you'll find covers of Joni Mitchell ("A Case Of You"), Cohen's "Hallelujah", Sarah McLachlan's "Angel", and many others!

Allison has 7 great albums out: "Secrets", "Tidings" (Allison's festive album, with some cover versions thrown in), "Live At Wood Hall" (a double live CD, which I also totally recommend), "Little Light", "This Little Bird", "Spiral" and Allison's debut album "Lisa's Song + 6 Songs"! They're all great albums, I totally recommend them!
